All organic foodstuffs produced in Europe are
governed by Regulation CEE 2092/91 regarding
the production, transformation and sale of those
products which have been defined as organic.
Kitcream, committed to strict compliance with
this legislation, has put their own quality
control process into practice, applying the
highest possible standards, in order to monitor
all processes and materials used in the making
of our ice cream and ensure that they fully
comply with organic production requirements.
The key to guaranteeing the organic quality
of Biocream lies in maintaining a constant flow
of information (traceability) regarding the
handling of our ice cream until it reaches the
consumer. With this information, Kitcream knows
which of its eco-providers supplies which ingredients,
what physical quality controls have been carried
out (temperature, expiration, etc.), the conditions
for shipping and delivery of the product, etc.
From a regulatory standpoint, this information
ensures that organic production standards are
kept at each point in the process, which under
no circumstances allows the ice cream to be
"contaminated" by materials or processes
considered to be non-organic. |
